A membrane of pure cellulose acetate modified for the lowest possible binding when filtering protein and enzyme solutions. Used for protein and enzyme filtration, tissue culture media sterilisation, biological fluid filtration and diagnostic cytology. It keeps its dimensions after autoclaving and is unaffected up to 135 °C; burst strength is 130 psi.
