Flanged fittings were the traditional way of connecting fluoropolymer tubing into flat-bottom ports. Biotech Fluidics recommends more modern fitting designs but keeps this product line to support maintenance of older constructions. The tubing ends must be melted into flat disks (flanged) for the connections to seal. For 1/16" and 1/8" OD tubing into 1/4-28 or M6x1 flat-bottom ports.
