Fluorometer cells: standard, semi-micro and micro (Types 3, 9F, 18F, 17F)

Standard rectangular fluorometer cells, Type 3, are the most popular cells for general fluorescence measurement; all four windows and the bottom are polished. The smaller volume Types 9F, 17F and 18F are identical to the Type 9 semi-micro, Type 17 short micro and Type 18 micro ranges except that all walls and the base are polished. Spectrosil quartz is recommended for fluorescence because it has no background fluorescence. Unless specifically designed otherwise, all cells are assembled by fully fused construction without intermediate adhesives and can generally be used with pressure differentials of up to three atmospheres. Standard window thickness is 1.25 mm and the standard path length tolerance is ±0.01 mm (catalog general specifications).
