The heating function is activated separately and signalled by an LED button; a large safety gap between heating plate and control elements and an optical residual heat indicator protect the user. The patented Kera-Disk® surface is anodised aluminium with a diameter of 145 mm. Temperature can optionally be controlled with an EKT.
