Linear and large-aperture flow cells (Types 45, 46, 47, 71, 72)

Type 45 flow cells provide a large surface to view materials as they flow through the chamber; their thin 3 to 4.5 mm external thickness suits most microscopes. Type 46 standard and Type 47 semi-micro are for in-line continuous flow, with samples normally flowing from bottom to top. Type 71 standard and 72 semi-micro flow cells suit instruments with 8.5 or 15 mm "Z" dimensions where sample volume is not critical; black (self-masking) versions are available. Unless specifically designed otherwise, all cells are assembled by fully fused construction without intermediate adhesives and can generally be used with pressure differentials of up to three atmospheres. Standard window thickness is 1.25 mm and the standard path length tolerance is ±0.01 mm (catalog general specifications).
