Micro cells (Type 18 and 18B)

Type 18 micro cells with a 2 mm internal width are for sample volumes smaller than standard or semi-micro cells; the nominal working volume is only 20 % of the Type 1 cell with the same path length. Versions with clear or black (opaque) walls are available. External height 45 mm, supplied with a PTFE cover. Unless specifically designed otherwise, all cells are assembled by fully fused construction without intermediate adhesives and can generally be used with pressure differentials of up to three atmospheres. Standard window thickness is 1.25 mm and the standard path length tolerance is ±0.01 mm (catalog general specifications).
