The paddle over disk is a modified version of Method 2 (paddle method) used to determine the drug release rate of transdermal patches, described in USP <724> as Method 5 and in Ph.Eur. 2.9.4 Method 1 as the Disk Assembly Method. Holders, screens and Cuprophan membrane are included.
