Florisil is a magnesia silica gel: particle size 150-200 µm, irregular. A polar sorbent that extracts polar compounds from a non-polar matrix; used to separate chlorinated pesticides, amines, herbicides, PCBs, ketones, organic acids and phenols (manufacturer statement).
