A graphitised carbon sorbent with a laminated structure, particle size 120-400 mesh. It gives higher and more stable recovery when extracting polar substances such as organochlorine, organophosphorus and nitrogen pesticides, and extraction is very rapid because of the low porosity. It has a strong affinity for planar molecules such as chlorophyll and carotenoids.
