Silica-based N-aminoethyl aminopropyl phase: particle size 50 µm, pore size 60 Å, carbon 8%, pKa 10.1 and 10.9. Selectivity is similar to NH2; in multi-residue pesticide analysis of foods it has a strong affinity and high capacity for removing fatty acids, organic acids, some polar pigments and sugars, and is also an excellent sorbent for chelation.
