Silica-based quaternary amine phase: particle size 50 µm, pore size 60 Å, carbon 6%; completely dissociated. It is the strongest anion-exchange sorbent and retains weaker anions such as carboxylic acids that may not be retained strongly enough on PSA or NH2. It is activated by conditioning with appropriate buffers.
