Inlet filters prevent dust and other foreign particulate matter from entering the flow path of liquid chromatography and (U)HPLC instruments, where such particles would otherwise reach the column inlet, increase backpressure and affect peak shape. Traditional designs leave some liquid that cannot be aspirated; the Bottom-of-the-Bottle™ design makes it possible to use the solvent down to the last few millimetres from the bottom of the bottle. Options in different materials and porosities are offered; filters should be replaced regularly.
