The transmission of the filter is determined by the thickness of a metallic coating deposited on a quartz plate; the metallic surface is overlaid by an optically bonded cover plate for protection from oxidation and physical degradation. The filters are mounted stress-free in black-anodised aluminium holders. The spectrum is essentially flat from 250 to 850 nm; absorbance and transmittance are certified at 250, 280, 340, 360, 400, 465, 500, 546.1, 590 and 635 nm. Suitable for spectrophotometers with bandwidths not exceeding 10 nm.
