Solutions of nicotinic acid in dilute hydrochloric acid at four concentrations, permanently sealed by heat fusion into UV grade quartz cells, supplied with a hydrochloric acid blank cell and a UKAS accredited ISO/IEC 17025 calibration certificate. The spectrum has peaks at 213 and 261 nm. Starna does not recommend nicotinic acid for linearity measurements above 1.0 A.
