The sealed cell UV plate reader reference contains liquid references permanently heat sealed into quartz cells held in a black anodised holder with the dimensions of a 96-well plate. The cell format uses 5 mm path length cells with a Starna patented bubble trap to minimise measurement errors; potassium dichromate and holmium oxide solution are included as the wavelength reference. A microplate adapter allows standard references to be used in plate readers.
