The EV CI series is designed for lines that handle highly potent active ingredients. The enclosure is fully sealed, and the manufacturer states that it meets the OEB Level 5 standard. Glove ports, an RTP and an inflatable door seal protect the operator, while constant negative pressure and a sealed transfer system separate good and rejected product without opening to the outside. After inspection the interior is cleaned automatically by a recipe-based wash-in-place (WIP) programme run from the HMI. The tablet version uses ten 2D and two 3D cameras.
