The combined version inspects both tablets and capsules in one sealed enclosure: ten 2D and two 3D cameras for tablets, fourteen 2D plus infrared cameras for capsules. The sealed design is intended for highly potent products such as cytotoxic or hormone-based drugs, and the manufacturer states the OEB Level 5 standard. Cleaning runs as a recipe-based WIP programme whose method, steps and timing are set on the HMI. The enclosure and hardware can be customised to the production environment.
