The machine examines tablets with ten 2D and two 3D cameras and capsules with fourteen 2D cameras plus infrared. Few parts are changed at a product change, and 25 pocket guides with 20 types of rotation guide position different product shapes. Tablets are checked for cracks, print errors and colour deviation, capsules for double caps, print and fill errors. The manufacturer's page gives speed tables by tablet diameter and capsule size.
