Starna Green is a specially formulated dye solution for routine testing of spectrophotometer wavelength and absorbance accuracy and linearity (up to 5 A), suitable for bandwidths up to 20 nm. Wavelength and absorbance are certified for three well-defined peaks at 258, 416 and 630 nm. Solutions in dilute hydrochloric acid are permanently sealed by heat fusion into a UV grade quartz cell, supplied with a blank cell and a UKAS accredited ISO/IEC 17025 certificate.
