FeSSIF-V2 is a biorelevant dissolution medium that simulates human fed state intestinal fluid. It is similar to FeSSIF but contains lipolysis products of fat digestion, which can help to understand the in vivo solubility and dissolution of lipophilic drugs (Log D 3 or above) in the fed state intestine. 60 g of powder makes 6 L of FeSSIF-V2. It is described in USP <1236> Solubility measurements as a recommended biorelevant medium.
