Ten 2D cameras and two 3D cameras inspect round, oval and custom-shaped tablets. The system looks for cracks, chipping, foreign particles, stains, colour variation, print and shape defects, with criteria set to the product specification. Tablets are separated by a built-in vibrating screw feeder, while pocket guides and rotation control keep them stable. The manufacturer states that saved recipes shorten product changeovers.
