The tester supports two USP baskets, each with its own independent timer and motor. Bathless heater plates warm the medium quickly and no water bath is needed. It has a programmable temperature controller, an external probe for validating the beaker temperature, automatic parking of the baskets at the top at the end of the test and green illumination. The manufacturer states that it complies with USP, IP and Ph. Eur. specifications.
